Responsible gambling

Six sections · about three minutes

Gambling is entertainment with a price on it. Play with a budget you can afford to lose, the way you would budget an evening out — planned, capped, and finished when the budget for it is finished. It is not an income, and it is not a way to win back what a bad night cost. Everything on this page is built into the account, not buried behind a support request.

01Where we stand

We would rather hold an account for ten quiet years than one loud month. That is not sentiment; it is why our bonuses cap, why credits expire instead of compounding, and why raising a limit is deliberately slower than lowering one.

02The tools

All four live under Settings → Play controls. None of them cost anything, and none of them require a conversation with us first.

  • Deposit limits. A ceiling per day, week or month. Once reached, deposits are refused until the window resets — which is the simplest way to hold a budget.
  • Loss and session limits. A cap on net loss, or on how long a single session may run. When a session limit is reached, play ends and the account signs out.
  • Reality checks. A quiet on-screen note every 15, 30 or 60 minutes showing elapsed time and net position. It has to be acknowledged before play resumes.
  • Time-outs and self-exclusion. A break of 24 hours to 6 months, or an indefinite exclusion. Both start the moment they are confirmed.

03How limits behave

Lowering a limit is instant. Raising one takes 24 hours and a second confirmation, and support cannot speed that up — the delay exists precisely for the moment you most want it gone. A break cannot be lifted early by anyone, including us. During an exclusion, marketing stops, the account cannot be reopened under a different email, and any withdrawable balance is returned to you.

04Warning signs

Most people never meet these. If several sound familiar, treat that as information rather than judgement.

  • Playing to win back what a bad night cost, rather than for the evening itself.
  • Staking a budget set aside for rent, food or repayments.
  • Borrowing to play, or hiding how much has been played.
  • Losing sleep, missing work, or feeling relief only while a game is running.
  • Telling yourself the next session is the one that settles it.

05Getting help

Free, confidential support services for people affected by gambling exist in most places, including helplines, online chat and peer groups, and they are open to family members as well as players. Your local health service or an online search for gambling support in your area will point you to the nearest one. Our support team can also walk you through pausing or self-excluding the account, at any hour, without asking you to explain yourself.

06Keeping minors out

Nobody under 18 — or under the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction, where that is higher — may hold an account or play on one. We verify age before the first withdrawal and re-check when something looks wrong. If you share a device, lock it, do not save the password in the browser, and consider filtering software that blocks gambling sites at the device level.

Pause the account now

Settings → Play controls → Take a break. Choose a length, confirm twice, and the account closes to play immediately. Nothing is asked, nothing is charged, and nobody calls you about it. Log in to open Settings.

18+ only. Play responsibly. Offers are for new accounts unless stated otherwise; Bonus Credits carry a play-through requirement before they clear; terms apply. Read the full terms.
